Tried to delete/rename the file but Windows said it is being used by application or access denied? Found a virus file but it doesn’t allowed to get deleted because it is running? Natively Windows does have the task manager to kill applications that is running, however, if the file is in used, there is almost no way for you to find out which application is using it, at least, no easy way. Below is one of the example that popped-up when you try to delete a folder:

Cannot delete file: Access is denied
There has been a sharing violation.
The source or destination file may be in use.
The file is in use by another program or user.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.
